Have you tried... using automatic bulk payment?

The problem: When an insurer makes a bulk payment, it takes ages to reconcile this against the invoices and identify any shortfalls.

If the insurer sends an electronic remittance with their bulk payment, ePractice Lite and Pro will automatically allocate these against outstanding invoices, ready for you to review.

Quick guide to automatic bulk payments

  • Check your Tasks and Reminders on the status page for electronic remittances by insurer and then click Bulk Payments to Review.
  • Alternatively, go to Accounting > Bulk Payments and use the Filter By option to select an insurer. There will be a computer icon next to an insurer if they have made an electronic bulk payment.
  • Select the bulk payment and click Manage Bulk Payment to see how the system has automatically allocated this against outstanding invoices.
  • Use the Allocation column to edit the amounts.
  • When you are happy, click Save Allocation to record the payment.
