ePractice new interface status page 2016Since we launched ePractice, our practice management solution in 2008, it has offered consultants quick, secure access to the tools they need to speed through routine admin tasks and devote more time to patients.

The number of specialists using ePractice has increased by more than 60% since 2012. However, as technology advanced we wanted to update the whole ePractice suite, to enhance their experience, without compromising on functionality, speed or data security.

All our ePractice users now have access to the new version so they can see the changes for themselves. Here is an outline of what to expect:

Layout and navigation:
A clean, contemporary design so that your patient lists and practice diaries are clearly displayed and easy to read.

The main menu has been moved to the left-hand side of all pages and there’s also a quick menu at the top of each page.

Improved search functions:
There is a quick search function at the top of each page so you can look up patients, invoices or available appointment slots and apply filters to the results.

Accounting page:
This section has been redesigned so it is quicker and easier to manage transactions at the patient or invoice level and to allocate bulk payments from insurers.

Browser support:
You can now log onto ePractice using Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer.

New ePractice App:
Download the app to your tablet from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store so that you can stay in control while away from your practice. You can add and update patient details; send e-bills to insurance companies using the simple three-step Quick e-bill process; view outstanding balances and upcoming appointments; and look up clinical codes.

Security:
As with all Healthcode’s services, all your data is held in a secure UK location and only accessible via encrypted network connections. A back-up copy is taken daily.

Planning ahead:
ePractice is compatible with the systems used throughout the private health sector, paving the way for our next generation of services, such as automatic payment reconciliation.

Help and support:
While the new ePractice is designed to be easy to use, Healthcode’s customer service team is on hand to provide advice and technical support during the transition. The team are available Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm. Plus, there is a range of how-to videos available on the system once you have logged on.
