Time is precious in a busy practice, especially when it comes to back-office administrative and practice management. While ePractice has been designed to be as intuitive as possible, users may need additional support if they are new to the system or trying to master a new feature.
If you require assistance when using ePractice, the best thing to do is contact Healthcode’s customer services team who are dedicated to responding to queries from private practices and hospitals. You can call the team on 01784 263 150 but if you need to send in confidential patient or financial details, we recommend using our Log system.
This channel of communication is encrypted to internet banking standards and is therefore secure than regular unencrypted email. This is important consideration if you need to include identifiable patient data in your report and want to meet your data protection obligations.
To use the Log feature, log-into the Healthcode service, go to ‘Settings’; ‘Help & Assistance’ and then ‘Open Error logs’. From here you will be able to view any previously logged reports , updates in ‘Pending Logs’ and complete a new log report.
Click ‘Add log’ and enter the requested details on the form. Your user and contact details will automatically be generated; select a category from the drop-down menu, this is likely to be ePractice; and give further information. Finally, click the ‘Add log’ button to send the request to customer services. Make a note of the log number so you can track your query or discuss it with a customer service adviser.
