System upgrade

ePractice biller upgrade As part of our continuing programme of maintaining and improving our systems, we are pleased to confirm the improvements made to your ePractice biller service which went live on 2nd November. The upgrade introduced the changes in preparation for the launch of our new service, ePractice manager - the complete private practice management solution. The upgrade:
  • introduces a new menu structure
  • presents a preview facility on the patients list
  • provides a new full screen patient view
  • introduces a contacts management facility
  • provides an improved reporting screen display
  • introduces a number of new tools to improve ease of use
Release notes are available on the Settings Help and Assistance Screen for further guidance.



NHS code toolkit

Next release - Generation of HRG's

NHS Code Toolkit Healthcode's NHS Code Toolkit, which translates clinical codes between the disparate standards deployed in the public and private sectors has a new release coming soon. This will include the functionality to generate HRG's based on clinical, diagnostic, episode and patient data. We have been testing the HRG generation with one of the larger hospital groups and results have been excellent. The current release supports:
  • ICD9-ICD10 Retrieval and cross Conversions
  • CCSD-OPCS4.2 Retrieval and cross Conversions
Future releases will support later versions of the OPCS4.2 code in line with Department of Health guidelinese will write to you when the generation of HRG's is available.



New Healthcode website

We have re-designed our website following a review to identify areas of improvement. The new website will:
  • provide a new look and feel
  • have an improved navigation menu
The new layout will be available next month.

Clare Keeffe
will be off on maternity leave from the end of Nov 08 returning in Aug 09.

Jagdip Mann who has been with Healthcode for the past 6 years in various roles including 5 years on the Customer Service desk, will be taking on Clare's role as Account Manager. Online customer service satisfaction survey


Customer survey Thank you to all our customers who participated in our online satisfaction survey.  We aim to deliver a first class service and responsive support to our customers and your comments are extremley valuable in helping us maintain this high level of service.
The winners of our survey prize draw are Mary Marchant and Ammar Alhasso who will both receive a bottle of champagne.
